My name is Jeff and I am the founder of breathARMY.
My mission is to educate, inspire and empower people to live to their true potential.
I use different tools like breathwork, meditation, different forms of movement, and stressors like cold and heat and psychedelics to help people break through the structures and patterns that hold us back from experiencing life fully and from living and expressing our potential out into the world.
Throughout the first 35 years of my life I experienced many forms of complex trauma – physical, mental and sexual abuse, imprisonment, life threatening accidents and near death experiences.
Before I connected to the power of my breath, I struggled with severe mental health issues… anxiety, depression, PTSD, suicidal ideation and hard core drug addiction. I struggled to find purpose in my life and to connect with others at times being unable to leave my house. I have suffered from digestive issues, nervous system dysregulation, chronic sinus and respiratory issues and sleep problems to name a few.
All of these have improved or resolved completely by connecting to and bringing more awareness to my breath and body.
I have traveled the world and studied with many different masters of breath and movement over the past 13 years. I am certified in Wim Hof Method (Advanced Instructor), Oxygen Advantage (Advanced Instructor), Buteyko Breathing and Nai’a Integrative Breathwork. I continue to learn alongside and mentor with Brian Mackenzie. I have studied Classical Pranayama and Advanced Kundalini Pranayma with David Shannahoff Khalsa. I am also a 500 hr Yoga Teacher and a Paramedic retired from the British Columbia Ambulance Service.

The Breathwork Blueprint is a comprehensive program that goes beyond breathing techniques, offering you a holistic perspective on your own well-being and the tools to create sustainable change in your life. It is based on Jeff’s personal journey and extensive study of breathwork and somatic healing. He has distilled his knowledge and experience into a simple and effective system that you can apply in your daily life. The Breathwork Blueprint is also supported by a vibrant community of students who are also committed to creating transformation in their lives. You will not be alone in this journey. You will have access to Jeff’s guidance, feedback, and support, as well as the opportunity to connect with others who share your vision.
The program is 11 weeks long, with one lesson and one integration lab per week, except for the integration weeks (week 4 and week 8), where there are no calls or labs. The lessons are 45-100 minutes long, and the integration labs are 15-30 minutes long. You will also have one live group coaching call per week, which is 60-90 minutes long. You can access the lessons and integration labs at your own pace and convenience, but we recommend that you follow the weekly schedule as much as possible. The live group coaching calls are scheduled at a fixed time every week, and we encourage you to attend them live, but they will also be recorded and available for replay. In total, you will need about 2-3 hours per week to complete the program, plus some extra time for your daily breathwork practice and community interaction.
If you don’t understand the techniques or course material, you will have an opportunity to audit the next course in the future. The first time you take the course it can feel like a lot if you are completely new to this type of work! When you have time to integrate and review the material again, you will have a much stronger foundation and will be able to go much deeper. You will have lifetime access to the breathARMY community and the opportunity to continue to provide/receive accountability with other members, participate in future iterations of the course, etc. I’ve got your back!
Understanding the power of the breath and nervous system regulation are THE MOST POWERFUL tools I have used to heal my body and rewrite the self defeating narratives that used to rule my life. I am not teaching you another method. I am teaching you to tap into the power within you and giving you the knowledge of how to work with your physiology to create lasting changes.
No, you do not need any prior experience or knowledge of breathwork to join the program. The program is designed for beginners as well as experienced breathers who want to deepen their understanding and practice of breathwork. The program covers the basics as well as the advanced aspects of breathwork, and provides clear instructions and guidance for each breathing technique and exercise. You will also have access to Jeff’s support and feedback, as well as the community’s support and conversation, throughout the program.
Breathwork is generally safe and beneficial for most people, but there are some exceptions and precautions that you should be aware of before joining the program. If you have a medical condition such as high blood pressure, heart disease, epilepsy, asthma, or any other respiratory or cardiovascular disorder, you should consult your doctor before joining the program. If you are pregnant, you should also consult your doctor before joining the program, as some breathing techniques may not be suitable for you. You should always listen to your body and respect your limits when doing breathwork. If you feel any discomfort or adverse effects during or after a breathwork session, you should stop immediately and seek medical attention if necessary.
Follow the weekly schedule as much as possible and complete the lessons and integration labs in order. This will help you build a solid foundation and progress gradually through the program.
Attend the live group coaching calls and participate actively in the discussions. This will help you review the content, ask questions, get clarity, and share your experiences with Jeff and the community.
Join the private Whatsapp group and interact with your fellow students and Jeff. This will help you stay connected, motivated, and supported throughout the program.
Create a daily breathwork practice that suits your needs and goals. This will help you embody what you learn and integrate it into your daily life.
Listen to your body and respect your limits when doing breathwork. This will help you avoid any discomfort or adverse effects and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
